deborah's place commercial kitchen

Deborah’s Place, a nonprofit overnight women’s shelter, received an anonymous $10,000 grant specifically for the kitchen, which had served over 385,000 meals but was not legal, safe, ADA compliant nor efficient. Providing pro bono design services, the limited donation was stretched to include custom stainless steel countertops, an ADA compliant work area in a custom island and open shelving throughout to increase the storage of dry goods from one day’s worth of food to over one week.
